We Mourn the Passing of our Founder Tuesday, June 24, 2014

After a brief battle with cancer, Harry L. Staley passed away this afternoon. A leader in fundraising for over 50 years, Harry is remembered as the intellectual and creative force behind our firm and many of our country's most successful fundraising efforts. He was a Director and Officer of the American Association of Fundraising Counsel (now The Giving Institute) and a champion of ethical fundraising. He founded StaleyRobeson in 1976 and served as its Chairman until his passing. We are saddened by his death, but inspired by his legacy. Harry's voice will be our guide as we continue our service to the not-for-profit community.

SR is proud to begin its thrid year of service to the Highlands Foundation in Prestonsburg, KY. Thank you to Greg Wilson, Board Chair; Harold Warman, CEO Highlands Health System; and Kathy Rubado, President of the Highlands Foundation for the opportunity to serve. The Highlands Foundation works to promote philanthropic support of Highlands Health System and provide support to other charitable entities in eastern Kentucky. The purpose is to promote healthcare and establish programs for community education and wellness.
